Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress best known for the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. In the late 80s the actress began her acting career. She became well-known for the character Tezaab in which she appeared with the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir in Dil. Early on, as a child growing up in Mumbai's middle class she learned to dance. As a young woman began acting, but was not successful as a lot films she made were not successful. In the end, she was successful with Indian cinema and rose to the very top. The actress took a hiatus from acting following her marriage before returning to the world of entertainment. Recently, she played an important role in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women in India. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Social work by her is well-known.
