Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. She was raised listening to classic and old boleros, and the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana loves Tangos. Also, she loves operas as well as any drama. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
